    Staff of Sheridan County School District #2 are saddened at the passing of Representative John Patton, who died April 5, 2015, at the age of 84. Representative Patton was very involved in education policy, and he was wise, gracious, and kind in all his interactions. His dedication to our students, community, and state will never be forgotten.

  • Supreme Court Justices to Visit SHS

    Sheridan High School will be the site of a Wyoming Supreme Court trial on April 22nd. The justices will hold their appellate court in the Sue Henry Auditorium to hear a certified question from a federal court.

  • SHS Locker Room Groundbreaking Ceremony

    The public groundbreaking ceremony for the locker room renovation and new sports facility was held at Sheridan High School on Thursday, March 9th at 5:30 pm. Sheridan High School (SHS) has been planning and fundraising for a renovation to the current locker room and training facility. Thirty years of use have taken their toll and the locker room and the training facility needs upgraded and enlarged. The original SHS design did not include the freshman class and the numerous sporting events that have been added over the years.

    We the People Team Seeks Sponsorship for National Competition

    In the proud tradition of those that have worn blue & gold, the We the People team has given Sheridan High School back-to-back state championships. On April 23, the team will travel to George Mason University to compete in the National Finals. Students are now preparing themselves on a range of topics from the Magna Carta to issues facing our nation today.

    Boys Sheridan Bronc Soccer Team Performs Well

    The Boys Sheridan Bronc Soccer team battled the Cheyenne Central Indians in Sheridan on Friday, April 17th. Riley Sessions scored a goal that was overturned by the referee after Central’s head coach and keeper appealed the goal. Dontae Crow scored two goals, taking the final score to 2-0.
