Henry A. Coffeen Cornerstone Ceremony Marks Completion of New Building

The new Henry A. Coffeen Elementary School will welcome students through its doors on the first day of the 2014-2015 school year.  In recognition of this momentous occasion, the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Wyoming will perform a traditional cornerstone ceremony for the new Henry A. Coffeen Elementary School at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 1053 S. Sheridan Avenue.  At a similar ceremony performed on May 25, 1891, for Sheridan’s first brick school building, Sheridan Founding Father Henry A. Coffeen held the office of Deputy Grand Master for the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Wyoming. It is a great honor to have our school building carry his name, in a the same ceremony that he once led.
