Hundreds Attend SJHS Back to School Night

On Thursday, August 28, hundreds of parents and students packed Sheridan Junior High School classrooms during Back to School Night.  The event, held annually during the first week of school, allows parents to visit all seven classes their children attend, hearing short messages from each teacher. Teachers shared overall learning goals, as well as plans for classroom expectations and grading during their seven-minute presentations.  To close out the evening with a more personal touch, SJHS staff served root beer floats to families on the school's front lawn following the event.
