The U.S. Presidential Scholars program was created in 1964 to recognize and honor the nation's outstanding graduating seniors. Each year, up to 141 students are named to this prestigious honor.
Sheridan County School District #2 is proud to announce that Sheridan High School student Lachlan Brennan has been named as one of the scholars of 2015. Each student named for the award will receive an expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to be presented with a Presidential Scholar medallion at the ceremony on June 21, 2015.
Lachlan reported to the program that his most influential teacher has been Jeanne Hackman of Sheridan High School.
