The public groundbreaking ceremony for the locker room renovation and new sports facility was held at Sheridan High School on Thursday, March 9th at 5:30 pm.
Sheridan High School (SHS) has been planning and fundraising for a renovation to the current locker room and training facility. Thirty years of use have taken their toll and the locker room and the training facility needs upgraded and enlarged. The original SHS design did not include the freshman class and the numerous sporting events that have been added over the years.
The project's fundraising efforts are being led by Activities Director Don Julian and the Sheridan Bronc Booster Club, Sheridan Stadium Foundation, and the Homer A. & Mildred S. Scott Foundation. The project has been funded by private donations, fundraising events, and locker room nameplate sales. Of the 400 locker nameplates in the facility, 257 have been sold.
We encourage everyone in the community to support SHS and this exciting project.
