Woodland Park After School Program Studies Owls

Woodland Park second-graders in the after school program have recently had the opportunity to see into the life of owls.  The students were provided with sanitized owl pellets to dissect.  The pellets contain the undigested remains of the owl's prey that are regurgitated 10 to 16 hours after a meal (containing fur, feathers, claws, and bones).  This opportunity continues the study of owls that students began in early March.
